I can still recall the day I had this flu-like symptoms before the Christmas season. Yes, I'm not a robot, I do heal babies but I also bleed--I'm human. And since this story is long overdue, I hope it's never too late to tell.
I had this healthy email received from my dad and this became my flu regimen eversince. It's called steamed orange and here's how it's done:
Slice the top portion of that very nice orange
Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Place back the top portion that you have sliced and secure it with a toothpick
Place the salted orange in a ceramic or glass bowl
Heat a caserole with water, put the bowl inside and boil about 20-30 minutes
Eat the fleshy part of the orange while its hot
It tastes salty, however, it has a calming effect. Do this everyday until your symptoms subside.
